- What are Internet cookies? are short pieces of data used by web servers to help identify web users.
- What are packets? Packets are parts of a site or web page or even an e-mail that is broken down in bytes. Each packet carries the information that helps get to the destination.
- What route do packets take over the Internet? Packets are sent by the best available route. It's first loaded across various pieces of equipment on a millisecond-by-millisecond basis, then if there is a problem with one piece of equipment in the network while a message is being transferred, packets can be routed around the problem, ensuring the delivery of the entire message.
- What is a 404 error on the web? It's a link to a missing page.
