  1. Of all the things we've done this year. which are the most useful and important up to this point? The most useful and important things that we've learned this year would be how to type at a fast speed without looking at the keyboard, and correctly. Not only that but how to fill out an application the proper way to point out our best qualities. Also to look up sites that give us infomation on subjects that interest us the most.
2. What do you WANT to learn about computers in the last 9 weeks? For the last 9 weeks of this school year, I would really like to learn how to make a website page of something that interests not only myself but others as well. How to get that site known to many people by other sites such as MySpace, Live Journal etc., is perfectly fine but are there other sites to do so? Are there sites just deditcated to one subject of interest and not any other? That is what I would like to learn about.

ethical judgements

The story.
  • Was the developers' behavior ethical?
I don't think their behavior was ethical at all becuse although it was a good idea to sell the land at more than they bought it for, it was horrible to do that to an 81-year old woman who had no idea should could possibly do that. Not only that but their ruining perfect marsh lands. To pave it all up would be completely horrible and a danger to nature.
  • How can this be avoided in the future?
This can be avoided in the future by letting the citizens know how horrible developer's could be, and warn them about these type's of situations. Anyone who understands would agree that this message should be given out to more people to help save the enviroment.

My ideal job.

Dear D.E. Shaw& Co.,

To be a private equity lawyer would be a dream come true. I believe that I deserve this job because I fight until I prove my point whether it be right or wrong, an opinion still matters to some in the world. I am very determined when it comes to something in which I have great intrest in. When it comes to someone else's life you should have the patience and courtesy to find out both side's of the story. It takes plenty of ethical reasoning to come up with an answer to a problem. I can offer all of this and more! Not only would I do well in the court room, but when it come's to paper work I can work at a rapid speed. This is why I believe that I should have to chance to get this once-in-a-lifetime amazing job.

Thank you for your time,
Gabriella Camejo.

Buxfer

I believe the the site Buxfer is both of a good idea and a bad idea.
It's a very good idea for those who check their e-mails frequently, then they will be able to know
what to do and who to pay or who to get money from. It keeps
great track of your money and where it's gone over the period of time.

But then it's also a bad idea because if people need to have someone remind them to
pay them back by sending an e-mail, how would they really remember
when to check their e-mail.
So the whole point of signing up for it would be a waste because they still wouldn't know
where their money's gone to or who they have to pay.

critique

Zodiac is based on the real-life terror that took San Francisco in the '70s, several police detectives and newspaper journalists try to uncover the identity of the mysterious Zodiac Killer. Although he sends tauntung notes and clues through the mail, he always seems just one step ahead of those looking to stop his killing spree. Great actors such as jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Edwards add to this movie's suspense and complexcity of this Law & Order type of movie which is layered ontop of weaven characters.

Unlike many other suspense movies, Zodiac bring's in characters who aren't in the movie long enough for them to become likeable or engaging in ways that normal Hollywood movies would bring to introduce you.
If I had to rate this movie 1-10 stars I would personally have to give it a 7.

How can a system be designed so students care more for learning?
A way for students to care more for learning is for the teacher to make it a little more interesting. Not teachers who just sit at their desks and give us a bunch load of work, then expect us to understand and finish within a short amount of time. The teacher's should know what grabs a students interest. For example, if we're learning about a story in English where a glass is broken, the teacher should make the sound or actually break a class. In mathmatics, give examples that the students can relate to. Just make thing's seem easier than they really are.
